    wrecked

I'm glad you're OK. It looks as though it will be a total loss. Our cars are now 10/11 years old already. It doesn't take much damage to total it. Buy it back and part it out, this may help you get some of your money back.

    Installed my 93 Cobra intake!

The 1" spacer should fit but not without removing your hood blanket. It will still be tight. If you add the spacer then you will have to remove and plug, or modify your EGR tube.

    Installed my 93 Cobra intake!

It sounds like you got a 94/95 Cobra intake. You would have had issues with the throttle, tps, and cruise control if it were a 93 Cobra. Did you say you DIDN'T need the elbow adapter? Pics would really help.

What's up with my pistons? Pics inside!

Those look remarkably well. How many miles do you have on it? When I did my HCI last summer I had TONS of carbon buildup. Why did you pull the heads?

    Brake upgrade

I'm almost certain that the brake lines are GT or Cobra specific. I'm not certain but most places that sell the Cobra/Bullitt front brake kits give you options on the rotors (slotted or plain) and brake lines (rubber or stainless.)

    New Hood

Let's see...you don't want to be a Fobra but you put on a Cobra hood but not the bumper cover...hmmmm. Not to be an a$$ but what's the difference?

    Drag radial ?

I am wondering which size rim 15, 16 or 17" would be best for a dedicated set of drag wheels. I have 3.55 gears and thought I would go with a shorter tire so would 15" be best? What is the best width to go with, 6,7 or 8 "? Also are the MT ET streets tubeless? I still have my 16" waffles...

    keep up with an EVO?

Labor for a gear install should not be more than a couple hundred bucks. FRPP gears can be had for 155 shipped and it's a good idea to get a basic rear end install kit, like Ratech, for around 100 bucks.

Doing H/C/I how can I make sure my block is good?

You can always run a compression test and a leak-down test to diagnose any piston ring problems.

    how to tell bad cats?

If the temp is the same, incoming and exiting, then why would they be bad? I've heard that when the cats are clogged or bad the cats will get extremely hot. If you have a laser/digital thermometer you can point it on the cats and get a temp.

    I'm wheel retarded

I'm assuming these would be for your Mach 1 wheels? If so, FRPP sells a set (20) chrome lug nuts that will probably work for all of their OEM wheels. You can purchase them online at Summit Racing. You might need a new wheel stud if the threads are jacked.

Will my computer like my cam?

If you're worried about cam/computer compatibility and you're going to get a tune or EEC tuner later then don't let the computer affect which cam you choose. Choose the RIGHT cam for your combo and let the tune take care of the computer. I went with a Crower 15511 hoping I wouldn't need a tune...

    Good day in Mustang land!!

Congrats! It always feels great to fix a problem, especially when you do it yourself. I felt the same way when I had to replace my stator/PIP last month.

    best shorty headers??

My vote is for the FRPP ceramic coated. Bassani makes a high quality x pipe.

Need a favor ? about Flows

Can someone who is using a Flowmaster American Thunder 2.5" catback exhaust measure the dimensions of the muffler and tell me if the front and back inlets are both offset? I am out of town and would like to order some magnaflow replacements. THX

    FITMENT

I have a Magnaflow catted X pipe which didn't fit too well. I had to 'massage' the pipes a little to get it in. I had a Bassani on my last Fox and it fit like a glove, a real EXPENSIVE glove.

That's TOO funny! You can fix the speedo by getting a SpeedCal. Just like they mentioned earlier. Good Luck!
