    got my 99 cobra rims stripped to the metal and I would like to know what would be the most durable method to paint them so they won't discolor or peel/chip. I am looking for a flat or low gloss look. Any suggestion or advice? thanks

    I was just curious because they don't look like the injectors in my car now, rather they are thinner plastic ones, like LS1's injectors. yea I definately don't need them yet but I will put em aside for when I start the h/c/i swap....thanks for the quick response! :nice:

    will a set of 24's from an 03 mach 1 work in my 89 5.0? I have a buddy who just put a blower on his mach and upgraded the injectors, he offered them to me for helping him with the install. sorry for such a general question...... :bang:

    Starter problem

    Forgot to mention that I have tried to arc the solenoid and the same thing happens, so the solenoid isn't bad. I smacked it with a mini-sledge incase it was locked up and nothing..... tightened all of the terminals and still no beans.

    Question for v8only : would a flexing quadrant cause the trans to be tough to put into gear when the pedal is all the way to the floor? Even when the clutch cable is preloaded to the fork?

    Yea the car had white faced overlays installed by the previous owner, i pulled the whole dash apart but couldn't really see anything wrong. How is it that you are supposed to unplug the gauge cluster from the harness? I had a hard time because i didn't want to pull too hard and brake something...
