    I appreciate all the feedback. I hope the quarter window and seal coming together isnt accurate. Why would soffseal and 50 Resto sell the vertical quarter seals if they only come attached to a new window? :doh:

    Hmmm. Maybe that is for the hatch quarters. The vertical seal for the convertible butts up against the door window glass and I havent seen anything anywhere that I have to replace the whole window. That would be a major drag!

    No clear coat needed. It wouldnt allow enough flexibility on the soft vinyl and may crack. You just need to use some vinyl prep to get it clean, then spray it with the dye. 50 resto has two different dyes. One is for the soft vinyl and the other is for the hard plastic.

    I agree with the others if you changed your quadrant already. Likely the TOB shifting or being pushed into the fingers on the pressure plate... Its gonna take a tear down to be sure.

    I did the panel just below the steering wheel with titanium interior paint I got from 50 Resto and it was a lot lighter than the panel next to it. I prepped it and the paint stuck fine and looks good, it just is much lighter than the rest of the interior. I ordered the titanium carpet from them...

    Any noises previously from the throw out bearing? Did your pedal effort change? Its also possible that if you still have the original self adjuster the nylon quadrant took a dump. Try grabbing the clutch pedal and pulling it toward you to see if the self adjuster kicks in.

    The throttle cable is new and I havent had any problems with cruise control. The idle is fine after I cycle the ignition, and it doesnt "search" like some of the vacuum problems cause.
