    Can you check compression on a rebuilt engine that hasnt been broken in? I mean the rings wont even be seated or anything. This motor is on a stand and not in a vehicle.

    UPDATE I plugged the info into a compression calculator and came up with roughly 9.8:1 The pistons barely have a dish, its just one valve relief if you take the time to look at the link. And I was thinking a 268 comp cam or edelbrock performer. (going for mild performance.

    I have the stock 1973 radiator now and I am on a budget, are there any larger radiators from other vehicles of the era? I don't know about buying a new aluminum unit. I will def go for the oil cooler and water wetter they seem like affordable mods.
