    I don't think it'll be a problem changing it. Just don't really wanna buy a whole new regulator when it's just a small part that needs fixin. Looks like i might be able to take it apart and fix it with a rivet gun if I have too.

    Looks like the front part that slides along the bottom of the window is gettin a little off track. Where can I get the parts to replace this? Do I need a whole new assembly?

    That'll probably work. I put the new ones in same way i removed old ones. Just tapped in from side to side and top to bottom.

    I just did it day before yesterday. I used a half inch socket extension to beat them in and out. I wouldn't recommend brass because it will chip apart. Those races are a lot harder then a socket extension I doubt if they would chip or break. It wasn't a plated extension though just steel. I did...

    I was just under it looks like the pinion bearing is shot. There was a ton of slop where the driveshaft bolts up in and out and up and down. I tried tightenin the pinion nut with no luck. I don't feel like really screwin with it so it's off to the shop.

    GEAR NOISE QUESTION.

    Just got another Mustang the other day and the guy put in Ford 4.10's himself and when you coast or let off the gas it whines and sometimes grinds like crazy. Loud. He said he had the cover off three times and everything looked ok. Think maybe I could just reset the backlash and fix it?

    Six put it bout where it needs to be. I don't have a lot of faith in the accuracy of dip sticks though.
