    Fastback question

Where can I find the parts that connect the sail panel vent drain to the rocker panel drain so water isn't dripped inside the rear quarters? Cliff Daniel Tempe, AZ 66 Fastback http://members.cox.net/cwdaniel/stang%20page/indexstang.htm

    Quarter panel drain plugs?

The little rubber plugs in the bottom quarter panel area of the trunk. Do the new ones need to have the little flap removed before installation? Or is it left in place? Cliff Daniel Tempe, AZ 66 Fastback http://members.cox.net/cwdaniel/stang%20page/indexstang.htm

    Hood Hinge Help

 So what's up with these flimsy Mustang hood hingies. Are they supposed to bend with the spring pressure? I need the inside scoop on how to get my hood aligned properly. New hinges, there is resistance keeping the back of the hood from coming down smoothly. It wants to skew to the...

    Interior Paint Question

I just bought some of the rattle can interior paint from a Mustang supplier, sprayed it on a sample card and took in in for a paint match. I had to add flattener myself to get the finish as close as possible on a single stage paint Turned out great!

    Interior Paint Question

I didn't have much luck with the chem stripper on mine. I couldn't get the paint completely out of the grain, and it didn't do much for rust. I ended up getting them bead blasted. Of course this would be a PIA if your not completely disassembling the car

    Interior Paint Question

I'll agree with the avoid rattle can recommendation. It's ok but not a real durable solution. I just finished re painting all the interior pieces of my 66 fastback with catalyized acrylic enamel. I'm hoping this will last a long time.

Anyone using Ken Harrison Enterprises stereos???

I think all shaft style units have adjustment in the shaft. The problem is the face part that has to poke through the center hole. Got any dimensions on that?

Anyone using Ken Harrison Enterprises stereos???

Your car is a 67 right? Do you know if the dash opening is any different in a 66 to make use of that same Kenwood unit?

    More interior resto stuff

That's what I'm hoping to do to the grilles themselves but what I'm after is removing them if possible to paint the fiberglass.

    More interior resto stuff

Fastback only, on the interior rear sail panel with the louvers. The panel assembly has chromed pot metal vent grilles sort of swaged to them. Has anyone ever successfully removed and reinstalled these things for painting? Or do we just mask and paint around hoping for the best. Cliff Daniel...

Thanks for that tip on the scotch brite. My quarter panels do have some scuffs and scratches that could use a little help. I'll give it a shot.

    Interior resto time

Thanks all! The parts in question are all the jigsaw puzzle pieces that make up the rear seat area. It's all fiberglass with steel trim. The two big quarter pieces have the vinyl grain embosssed into them, so I'm worried about sanding too much and removing it. The only plastic I have to...
