Fastback question

As complex and cool as the fastback vent system is, the drain aspect of it is rock-simple. Its just a hose (maybe 1 1/2 inch) held by a hose clamp that runs from the bottom of the vent, down to the rocker area. Not secured at the bottom.

I seem to be missing the part that the hose would attatch too.

There should be a round hose attatchment that is an integral part of the vent assembly at the bottom. I can't imagine how you might lose this. Maybe rusted away?

SandSprite: Never run without the hose, but I suppose that it could end up in the trunk without it. I doubt it though. There'd be no "wind" or anything like that to blow it back over the weel well. Most likely, it would just drip down to the area that it is approximately supposed to go anyway.

Not rusted, just plain forgotton I think. This is a very original rust free car and I'm fairly sure I'm first to be behind the interior panels. I've seen pictures of the proper parts. My can just never had them in the 1st place. Could this be a California thing?
