    Not trying ot be an ass but you should have gotten a better quality pump. you get what you pay for. replacing a pump is too much work to skimp out on with cheap parts.

    Help with tires/rims

    I have 275 in the rear but had to flip the quad shock. Now i have mm LCA's and just removed it. in the front i have 245's. Im on pro kits springs and the fronts only rub if I turn the steering wheel all the way. No fender rolling was needed on and my my fenders.

    Yea I believe that fixed it. I RTV'ed it let it dry overnight and drove it to work the next morning popped the hood and I didnt see the fluid running out anymore. I do need to find a new overflow tank though. Bought the car and it had a cheap autozone one and the cap pops off and fluid leaks...

    ok thanks guys. And im 100% sure its not the weep hole. You can see the fluid running out of the bolt hole and its stained the w/p with the trail of antifreeze. no other signs of fluid anywhere else either.

    When i bought my car it had no cross over in the mid pipe. just LT's to cats to mufflers. Honestly I didnt notice a difference powerwise at all when I replaced it with my mac o/r h pipe and mac pro dumps. I didnt notice the exhaust popped a lot more with the o/r pipe on deceleration but again...

    Vacuum line question....not an idle issue lol

    I need to replace some lines on 87 5.0. Mainly the ones coming off the vacuum tee going to the manifold,brake booster, etc. I was told these lines had to be ordered from Ford because they were a harder hose than what auto parts stores sell. Is this true and would this kit work for me...

    anyone have experience with a code 82? I thinks its a solenoid for the smog pump. My 87 302 has the smog pump deleted and the high idle wasnt an issue before my timing adjustment.

    well i guess i will just take it back to the shop. the TPS voltage was .90 (measured with a Fluke), i did a KAM reset and still high idle. The IAC, ECT, ACT, PCV, EGR, EGR Sensor all have less than 600 miles on them. Maybe one of the sensors is defective in which case should still be under...

    Ill check the TPS voltage tomorrow. I do know it was replaced at least a couple thousand miles ago beforei bought the car.......and i have the receipt showing me proof. :shrug:

    Whats the KAM? I just had the car at the shop for vacuum leaks and a new IAC was installed all less the 600 miles ago and nothing was wrong with the idle before i adjusted the timing.

    yea i tried doing it with the idle adjustment screw but it was backout as much as possible already. Im guessing you know somewhere else there is an adjustment at, hopefully? wanna share with a newbie? lol

    I adjusted my timing to about 13*-14* and now my idle stays around 1300-1500 rpms. Car runs fine no problems at all just a high idle. My setup is basically stock and my car is an '87 with speed dentsity. Anyone got any hints what it could be? thanks Marcus

    Which trans fluid to use in my 5-speed?

    GM synchro mesh FTW!!!!! Its about $15 a quart but its better han anything else for a T-5.
