    focus fuel pump didnt fit

okay...little confusing I know...but the 'entire pump' that you bought doesn't just swap with your current pump. The mechanic has to actually open up your stock pump, and take out the little metal pump contained in the white plastic and swap that with what's inside of the Focus pump...the...

    How to clean engine bay?

Thanks guys...a lot of good advice in these replies...I have an air compressor but I need to buy an attachment hose that will allow me to spray air in the engine bay (I ony use the thing for putting air in tires)...I like the 'steamcleaner' idea, but I thought those things were...

    Those w/ D.I.Y. Intercoolers???

to cut that hole did you just drill and then use a jigsaw w/ a metal blade??? The metal doesn't look as thick as I would have thought...and what type of cutting tool would be needed to cut the pipes (if necessary).

    Those w/ D.I.Y. Intercoolers???

I've been contemplating this for well over a year now...and I recently did a new search on Ebay and came up w/ some new DIY kits that appear to have the piping already fabbed up for a mustang...

Door Locks and Mirrors not working.

okay...don't mean to steal the thread here...but I'm having a very, very similar problem...only I'm unsure if my mirrors work or not because I haven't tried to adjust them in years but both of my door locks quit working at the same time...and all the fuses appear to be good...it sounds like...

    How to clean engine bay?

First off, let me just say that I live at the beach...and I work all of 50 feet from the sand. My car gets ocean spray constantly, and whenever I pop the hood I can just wipe sand off of things. For as long as I can remember, I've been spraying down my engine w/ degreaser (while the...

    Will this look odd???

well the front would match the rear height perfectly...and 26.6 is only 1/2" taller overall than the original 94-95 cobras...(255/45/17's)...so I don't think it should look that odd...I'm going to buy the tires because I'm getting a great deal...if the look is too extreme, I'll rip them off the...

    Will this look odd???

I was looking for a nice matching front tire for my 18x9 rims that would match in height w/ my 305/35/18's and give a good width...275/40/18 seems to be a perfect match but is well over an 1" taller than the stock tires and taller than the 265/35/18's that I had on the car in the past....will...

    Need Procharger High Idle Help

I think that this may be very common after the first re-programming....it has something to do w/ the engine computer learning the new air/fuel, throttle response, and intake temps...people have said that you may have to put upto 200miles on the new setup for most of the kinks to work themselves...

    choices for a newbie...

FYI...I have the bbk shorty headers too...and fitment is pretty bad w/ my Mac Prochamber midpipe...you may have better luck w/ a BBK midpipe...or maybe I just had bad luck w/ my setup...but it sucks having to coat the joints between my midpipe and headers w/ high temp silicone every couple of...

    it happened

I'm amazed by the fact that you could simply drive home and then take out your tranny...that would have to be a weekend project for me...and even then I'd make sure I had a backup car for the following week 'just in case'.

HELP! Vortech'd 04 GT - Oil getting in Powerpipe, car barely running....

I'm sorry I can't be of any help because this is beyond me...but I am running the same setup and am curious as to what the problem is. Are you running Synthetic Oil??? The guys at MPH say that superchargers can fail and leak if synthetic is used, and they only recommend Valvoline 5w30.

Help me Match up my tires

yes, those are what I'm getting my car doesn't get taken out in bad weather...and comments on other forums generalize to say that MT's are stickier than other drag radial brands...most reviews also say that they tend to be a bit wider than other tires of the same size

Help me Match up my tires

I'm planning on buying some Mickey Thompson 305/35-18 Street Radial Tires for 18x10 rims, and was wondering what a good looking front tire would be for the 18x9. I couldn't find any matching MT Street tires for the front, and was wondering what other brand names might look good w/ the MT Drags...

    Lets see some Hoods

I've been looking to do something new to give my car a more agressive look...and I'm having a hard time deciding on which aftermarket hoods I like the best...I like cowls but how high is too high...and I like the 00 cobra R but I hate that it's not functional and the Niche version is super...

Another Beat up Thread about rims and tires

you may have trouble finding the 2000 cobra r's w/ anything more than a 9.5" width...atleast I don't know of any...but I agree w/ your choice of rim. IMO those are the best looking wheels on the 94-98 body style
