    i had the same issue on my 94..... i threw alot of parts to fix it, but the only part i installed and made a difference was the ECT sensor..... after that, my car has been perfect, im running e cam with 30lb injectors on a stock tune.... my car runs like a champ now......... change the ect...

    Convertible top not working??????

    my car does the same thing, but it's my e-brake handle switch, when i pull the e brake up, the "brake" light doesnt light up in the cluster and my top wont function.... i have to play with handle to get the light on, then my top works

    i doubt it because this engine was on my 92 and i didnt have this issue, as soon as i put it in the 94, i had this issue...it seems like it dumps too much fuel when i turn car on, but it goes away and its fine....

    i have a 94 gt, when i drive the car for 20 miles or so its ok, but when i turn the car off, then turn it back on, the car throws out alot of black smoke and sound wierd and car doesn't idle..... i just changed the ECT sensor, but it did it before i changed the sensor, has anyone ever had this...

    the tach needle bouncing up n down, do u mean the car will surge and eventually die out from surging? and is it possible that would cause a 546 dtc code?

    i already changes the fuel filter. i cleaned the iac valve today and it made a huge difference on my idle. but it still dies out. now i have a new code which is #137(HEGO shows system always rich(left).. im going to replaced my o2 sensor tomorrow and see if that corrects the issue and...

    dtc 332 egr valve

    i just bought a 94 gt and it has a check engine light. i pulled the code and it is 332. EGR valve insufficient flow detected. so i went ahead and replaced the egr valve and solenoid, cleared the code and then test drove, check engine light came right back on with same code.
