Solved: Stripped Spark Plug - what to do?

I use these to get bolts with stripped heads out all the time at work, Snap On ain't cheap but it's worth the money especially in situations like yours. Check these out: 213TSFSYA, Set, Socket, SAE/Metric, Impact, Twist, Deep (13 pcs.) (3/8" to 3/4", 10 mm to 19 mm)

    Fuel pump?

Easy to check, just get a fuel pressure gauge and put it on the schrader valve on the fuel rails to check if you have pressure there. If it is the fuel pump they are not hard at all to change, average guy could do it in like 2-2.5 hours.

    Question for certified ASE mechanics

Depends like everyone is saying, but if you work flat rate be patient with it because some jobs you will make out really good and other jobs you will lose your ass on them....but it gets better over time.

    Noob with clutch question

You should have some free travel at the top of the clutch pedal when it is adjusted properly, which it sounds like it is. Does the car have the stock shifter or a short throw on it? You could pull the shifter bezel up and look to see if everything is bolted down tight on the shifter.

Saw a 2010 Camaro on the road today

It's not my thing either, I don't like the looks of them at all. I was just surprised to see one, especially on a day where it was snowing all day long.

Saw a 2010 Camaro on the road today

Just saw a 2010 Camaro (Bright Red) driving around town here in Battle Creek Michigan, funny thing is that we are in a snow storm right now. Anyone else seen these driving around? I did not think they even hit the dealers until the fall?

What do I need to tightenin the passenger side header/x-pipe connect

Did the stud break? You can buy new studs for pretty cheap and they are easy to replace, sometimes you need to heat the manifold around them get them out but it's easy work.

Car Stereo was stolen last night

Yeah I just purchased a Viper alarm with paging also, it was pretty expensive but it will be worth the peace of mind. I will be installing it myself monday after work (I am a Diesel Tech. so I will pull it into the shop to do it after work is done for the day). I still have to get one more...

    Hawk Front pads install ?

Unless the brake resevoir went empty you really should not need to worry about the bleeder being stripped for now. You don't need to open the bleeder to compress the caliper, put the old pad back on the piston side of the caliper and use a C-clamp to compress it back into the caliper.

    Blown and blown up 4.6

What do you mean a bitch to install? Pulling the motor and swapping everything over to the new block is not to bad as long as you are decent at turning wrenches and have the right tools for the job.

not to sound like a tard or anything...

Alot of guys have made it into the 12's with full exhaust, gears, u/d pullies, tubular k-member, suspension and slicks. You don't need to make a ton of power to get into the 12's with these cars, just need to get the power you have to the ground efficiently.

Has anyone ever heard of a piston recall?

Aftermarket companies are not going to pay for labor costs, they will pay for the replacement parts but not the labor. Just the way it goes. Sounds to me that your engine builder is just trying to buy time. He may have took on more jobs than he can handle at the moment.

Car Stereo was stolen last night

Yeah I wish I could find out who did it, but problem is the police around here don't really care and don't look into this kind of thing and people know that so they continue to do this kind of thing. Hopefully my insurance company takes good care of me on this, I am waiting to here back from...
