I agree. Nothing wrong with that!

    BUILDING MY OWN ROTISSERIE

The main portions are square 2"X2" 11 guage, which I believe is 1/8". The sliding parts that allow raising and sliding adjustment are 2 1/2"X 2 1/2" 3/16". The round tube that I am using is 2" I.D. 1/8" thick. Which I might change to a thicker tube. All is being braced (gusseted) by left...

    BUILDING MY OWN ROTISSERIE

I bought the 3 ton, I figure the whole car fully assembled weighs close to that. So a stripped rolling chassis should weigh even less. The wheels are swivel casters rated at 375 lbs. apiece so I'm looking at 1050 lbs. per stand, which is plenty. I'm planning on welding my wy wheels on, but I...

    BUILDING MY OWN ROTISSERIE

Like I said, I only have 98% of what I need. I'm getting some more square and the round tubing didn't make the photo. And yes I'm going to connect the two ends together. I'm planning on having the hydraulic ram height adjustable. I'll try to get a lot of pics. More to come.

    BUILDING MY OWN ROTISSERIE

BUILDING MY OWN ROTISSERIE IT'S FINALLY DONE! WITH PICS!! SO I'VE DECIDED TO BUILD MY OWN ROTISSERIE! :nice: I'VE GOT 98% OF THE STEEL I'LL NEED AND THE WHEELS AND HYDRAULIC RAMS TO LIFT THE BODY HIGHER OFF THE GROUND. I SURE DO LIKE HARBOR FREIGHT, WITH THEIR DISPOSABLE TOOLS AND CHEAP...

Well that's good news. Not going to use this one. Thanks?

    92 T-BIRD PARTS SWAP INTO A STANG?

I'm looking for a donor car to use the harness and computer. I plan on using a 94 351W fuel injected and stroked. But I also want to use new suspension, if the mcpherson strut, spindles and brakes swap over with little effort. I'd also take into consideration swapping in the rear end too. I...

    92 T-BIRD PARTS SWAP INTO A STANG?

Anyone know what parts can be swapped over to a Classic Mustang? Then again has anyone ever tried? I have the possibility to pick up a 92 T-Bird for cheap and I just want to know. The motor and tranny will most likely transfer, but what about brakes and front mcpherson strut suspension and...

    thinking about this welder

I got the Hobart 140 at Tractor Supply Co. for $420. It has wire feed control and voltage control. Plus it comes gas ready with regulator. Best money I've spent so far and real easy to use. You got to get gas, initially it costs a little more to get a bottle if you buy, you can always rent...

    Hello, new here with question

Well then, I guess you could make your own spacer out of wood. That way the spacer fits your application and at the same time you can tell us all about how well it it works and how well it holds up. :nice:

    Hello, new here with question

Sounds like the fuel in your carb basically evaporated out of it. Your carb is getting too hot and therefore the fuel gets evaporated. Could be a fuel pump, but most likely not. Try a carb spacer between your intake and carb, either aluminum or a phenolic (high temp plastic). I've even seen...

    silly inner fender question

:worthlesb But if I had to guess It sounds like you are talking about a piece of sheetmetal that will need to have the spot welds drilled out and then replace the inner fender that the hinge mounts to. Can't you just "tweak" it a little? You know a hammer goes a long way in these...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

$2300 - $2477! :( I can get a MII set up for less from Heidts. At least the last time I checked. I guess your paying for the ease of installation.

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

BIG improvement over stock! I want one for that reason and it looks to be a lot easier to install without cutting into the car. Plus I hope it's more affordable than a MII conversion. Like most of us, money is what prevents most of us from doing what we really want to do versus what we can...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

I heard about it here on :SNSign: And so far I like it. :nice: Just waiting to see what it will sell for and when it's going on the market. Last time I knew it wasn't ready.

    351W? HOW MUCH $$$$

I haven't examined it personally. But the guy who has it bought it to put in his Bronco over a year ago and now he won't be using it. Plus I know the guy, so I imagine he wouldn't sell it to me if he knew it wasn't any good.

    351W? HOW MUCH $$$$

How much should you expect to pay for a used 94 351W roller longblock? Keep in mind that this does not include the intake or injectors. I can get one for $500 with engine stand.

Did I score or strike out on this engine?

I'd say you did just as good as the time I bought a 76 T-bird with a 460, C-6 and a 9" rear for $250. And it was driveable! Which I was going to transplant the engine and tranny into my 67 Fastback. But then sold it for $1000. "One mans trash is another mans treasure."
