    02 GT with 110k, 03 block and heads with roughly 15k cold air, 75mm TB....think that's about it, engine-wise.

    I was getting around 23MPG now I'm at around 16. Shaking happens between idle and 2500 RPMs. Doesn't seem to be burning oil. I let a guy look at it and he said it seemed like a bad coil but when he changed said coil, another one would act up, and so forth....Occaisionally the car will shut...

    My battery keeps draining. I replaced the alternator and the battery still drained. Checked with a voltmeter and it was putting out around 10 V. Went to replace it, the parts guy checked it and said I was right, and ordered a replacement. Replacement came in and it was broken. At this point...

    Total comes to 2677.72. Luckily my unemployment appeal just went through and I'll be getting two months' worth of back benefits. Hopefully I can sell one of my guitars and pay for the rest of this without going to Uncle Visa.

    Guess one of the repaired holes was letting in air over time and burnt out that piston. Found an '03 4.6 with 15k on it for $1650. Add in what I'm sure will be steep-ass labor charge and I'm boned but no other options.

    OK, so I guess there was no plug blow-out. Just a burnt piston. I had assumed a plug blew-out since it made kinda the same noise when it happened.

    Hey all, When I start my '02 GT, everything's cool. Once I turn on the A/C, though, it makes what sounds like a belt whine for about 10-15 seconds. Just started doing that this week. Something serious or just inconvenient?
