    2001 cobra, 98k sounds like lifter rocker taps on an old GM motor when all you had to do was snug up a rocker or two and it would go away. Not so easy with this type. Thanks Scott

    2001 Cobra 2001 Cobra with 98000 miles on the clock. Sounds just like the old GM rocker/lifter ticks. The noise stops on accel and sounds like a rock tumbler at high idles and when I back out of the throttle driving.:rolleyes:

    Hello, I am sick of this lifter rattle. I just bought this car and I think the last guy did't change the oil alot. Let me know if you have a method to flush the garbage out without washing the rings. Thanks Scott:shrug:
