    replacing fuel filter?

No more than a few ounces, but make sure you release the fuel pressure by pushing down on the schrader valve located on the passenger side fuel rail, under the hood. BTW not to sound stupid, but you do need a special fuel line disconnect tool, that you can get at any part store ($10).

    Brake upgrades

I don't think you get any gains on stopping distance (maybe a few feet) with the Cobra kit, but what you get is less fade. Therefore, after several stops within a short time span (for example autocrossing) the brakes will stop the same whereas the stock GT brakes will be glowing red and won't...

    New dyno #'s

Just got back from the dyno. My #'s are 257hp/299tq. I am very pleased since the last time I went. My old #'s were 243hp/282tq. My only two new mods were the Pro-M 87mm MAF and C&L upper plenum. That's an increase of 14hp/17tq.

    Disapointed with first 1/4 times

Don't feel bad. I only went to the track once back in October. It was about 40 degrees and traction was a major issue. I couldn't cut a 60ft. better than 2.2 sec, I was all over the place in second gear, and my best time was a 14.26. But you have to remember what the trap speed was...mine...

    Transmission fluid question

Just use any automatic ATF III fluid. I used Quaker State and no problems. It should take a little less than 3 quarts. Do yourself a favor and buy a little hand pump to get the new fluid in there. It is well worth the extra $10.

    Coolant... should I change it?

Absolutely you should change it. Your motor has an iron block and aluminum heads. Because they are dissimiliar metals, a galvanic cell is produced. This breaks down the metals and therefore the fluid has to be changed every year. Cheap insurance if you ask me.

    Real World Tires for GT

I thought the KDW were quite a bit more than the KDWS, and he was trying to stay in a $130 per tire price range

    Which Octane?

Unless his timing is advanced I wouldn't bother putting the more expensive stuff in. More octane reduces detonation (or knock), but I don't think he has that problem.

    Real World Tires for GT

 Do some people even bother reading the posts above them? This guy wants tires for everyday driving, not drag radials :bang:

Lowering Springs - Track times. Post em!

You can't have it both ways. Either make a canyon carver or a 1/4 mile car. Once you start to stiffen up the car you will lose a lot of weight transfer. But does a few tenths really matter to you anyways? It is more about trap speed than e.t. A low e.t. just means that you have good...

    Good Clutch?

How many miles on the stock one? I only had 12k miles when mine went out, therefore I had the stock one resurfaced and just put it back in. No problems yet. IMHO I would replace the stock one if you have more than 30k miles.

Anyone remove the mass airflow screen??

I orginally had mine out, but then put it back in after my dyno. My a/f ratio was pig rich, and there were some threads about a year ago discussing this problem. The screen is there to smooth out the turbulent air, just like a screen on your sink faucet, therefore the MAF can get a correct...

    Good Clutch?

Whatever you do don't put a stock one back in. They are crap, and if you plan to go the track, you will ruin a stock one in no time. Just spend the extra money up front and do the job right the first time. :nice:

    NEW MRT WING

Does anyone know what kind of condition it will be shipped in? Is it ready to paint or is there some prep work? I can't believe you can order it in your specific color. I could buy some DR for that kind of money.
