    I was driving around the other night and while parked and at idle, i heard a light knocking sound which i have never heard before... Checked oil, seemed fine, and everything drove normal. I turned the car off and let it sit awhile, then started it up again. Same knocking. Went home, let it idle...

    Ok thanks for the replies. And yes it is the tubular intake, hence the reason i said GT 40... Hopefully they arent picky, and just do the damn smog. If not ill have to play dumb.... thanks again. :SNSign:

    I need to get my car smogged and i was wondering if there is a carb number for te GT 40 intake??? if not, am i screwed for the smog? of should i just stick the stock intake 5.0 plate on there and hope for the best... thanks...

    Charging problem....

    Well, I took a look at the wired to the solenoid, and i was missing one. IT was hidden, thats why i didint see it. I hooked it up and everything is good now. Thanks for the help. -Shane

    I have that size in back and i know they will fit with no problem. As for the front, im not sure, IT will be close. Depends on suspension i guess? :shrug: Hope that helped a bit. Good luck!

    I just drove to Kragen and they tested the alternator while it was still on the car... Ill check the fusible links tomorrow. As for omitting wires while swapping solenoids, i was very carefull as to replace them all back to there original positions, but i will double check. Thanks for the quick...

    Thanks for the info. Ill try that. As for the pedal, its still on its pivot. it works fine but it sits halfway to the floor. so i cant actually get on it. thanks again.

    Thanks again for the replies... Is there anyway to speed up the break in procss or lube it somehow to make sure it doesnt stick??? Also, how would i replce the spring? And, what screw would i tighten? Will tightening the screw take up the slack in the cable, and bring my pedal back to norma>...

    i have them. I just use red bulbs, and have not had a problem. Cops are always behind me at lights and i have yet to be pulled over, and hopefully never will. SO, Put them on, and hope for the best! :D

    245 is the max i could go up front since it is lowered. i went 255 out back but could go 275 flipping the quad. oh, and 4 lug is not that bad looking... :rolleyes:
