    you west coast guys got it easy, half the NE stuff, the hardware is panel bonded back on after they destroyed most of it pulling it the first time.

    Not really if pulling the cam is too much work, measuring it at multiple points is even more work. and no term x self tuning is a marketing gimic, its a base map pretty much. Still need someone who knows what there doing to fine tune it.

    National drive train sells gears with an install kit sub 200 on fleaby there usually motive gears, lot of vendors where blowing out gear sets recently, think they sold out on rock auto though. Got a couple for under $100 since I wanna see if 4:30 vs 4:56 gain any thing....

    Who still make decent spiders gears with all the China knock off and India made stuff out there now? Ford racing Trac lock in the white beater just started groaning on turns, pulled the cover and looks like the spiders have a ton of slop in them, backlash and clutch packs still looking decent...

    The cheapy China stuff is stainless like the old motorsport stuff, not mild steel like bbk's. , I'd be more worried about heat cycle cracking then rot, though qualities been fine from what I' ve seen. China's been making them for pypes, lmr, Holley and other brands etc for over a decade now...

    Back feeding voltage, that's going to be fun, you all ready replaced the coil right or at least disconnected it while testing?... That wire runs to the pedals, Aod should be a jumper plug in that area, trees off to the trans harness, starter relay and tfi, don't remember any other power source...

    Too much digging. The wires jumped on an AOD vs t5 for ngs by the pedal box if I remember correctly. De pin it from the ignition switch and test at the terminal at the switch, if the terminal isn't seeing full voltage there's your issue. I do not at all miss doing that :poo: for flat rate .

    Make sure you have 12v into the switch, its fed by the fuse links, should be yellow 12ga wire if I remember right.

    Coils are cheap, but I've never seen a failed coil lose injection pulse, standard fd478 made in Poland coils is all ill run these days, too many are just repackaged China crap now.
