    It should bolt up fine. If the motor is the late model motor and tranny, the only thing i wonder would be the clutch quadrant under the dash, but i don't know. My main question is the OEM cable did not have the heat wrap, so why should the new cable but then again stock didnt have equal length...

    So in November my adjustable clutch cable of 5 years broke at the plastic piece at the firewall, I bought another cable from LRS put it on no problem then it started binding up at the bellhousing.     Yes, the car ran fine from may-october with no problems once I got the adjustable fuel pressure regulator on it with the new motor. Could it just be a bad mass air sensor?

    Yes i removed the SPOUT connector lol, and placed it back in when finished. I had no problems with the c&l until the last month or so i will try and re clock it and see what happens. the IAC has been cleaned with the procedure mentioned above. and the idle was set also.

    timing was set with craftsman light, 14* i just dont understand if it was the mass air meter clocking wouldnt it surge all the time??

    No, I have the C&L mass airmeter hooked to the factory airbox. I tried reclocking the mass air meter, but its hard to know if I have fixed the problem due to it not surging all the time.

    So I've been battling an idle problem for the last few months. Ive been through the surging idle checklist thread, the problem is the car doesn't surge all the time. It intermittently will surge at a stop light, die....then I restart it and it runs good, it also runs great driving down the road...

    So today i got a set of pony's with tires for $100. It looks a ton better then 10 holes already. The deal is i wondered what the wheels would look like black with a chrome lip, or all black. i would like to put a black stripe in the trim around the molding also and black out the Mustang GT on...
