    I don't think Blueprint zero balances their rotating assemblies. Or sell short blocks. They also quote a 6500 RPM upper RPM limit on their stuff. I'd like to make peak power above that point.

    Wonding if anyone knows who puts these together for Ford? I saw in their "sealed engine handbook" that it mentions Robert Yates as being a machining source, at least on the cylinder heads. I'm looking at their 347 short block so I thought someone here may know.

    Installing roller rockers is an expensive proposition these days when buying new. For a decent set you'll be looking at like $400+ bucks. If you can find a set of drop in springs then you could do it yourself on the car w/o even pulling the heads. However, since the heads have been in service...

    About ProMotion... I spent a nice chunk with Walt many years ago and got a unit that grenaded in the water box on a BFG drag radial. He wouldn't even open it up to look at it. Maybe he's not the same guy these days, I don't know. That's what led to my buying a 3550 back then.

    As far as I know, Tony, the guy who was running Astro, is out of business. His dad still has a transmission parts business that has Astro in the name, but I've been told he doesn't sell the gearsets Tony was using.

    Anyone think the stock case, that gearset, a stock mainshaft and a cluster gear support plate will hold a Blueprint 347 with 415tq with no drag launches, street tires and like a 3.55 or 3.73 rear gear?
