    start your shift at 5200.....a shift lite w/ a 5200 chip works great you finish the shift about 5500-5600 launching will be a whole new experience for you....even w/ stock gears gear it hard, get some tires, and your car will be 2 full seconds faster than it was w/ the aod

    yup the motorsport kit will make the car just like a factory non-ac car cleanest setup, no idler pulleys dump the smog while your at it...then it's really clean, and the right side is ez'er to get to than the left for plug changing

    power gain...no improved combustion..yes getting nitrous .... it's a must overall worth it...most definitely i mean if there other things your thinking of then , no but it will burn better, start easier, and the engine will actually stay cleaner.

    MSD wiring harness?

    ABSOLUTELY the best 25 bucks you can spend....yes you just plug the coil into 1 harness, and the msd into the other. i would never chop any wires i don't need to...just asking for a problem later when you have an intermittant short to hunt down.

    yeah i was thinking the same thing...tell him 4 total and someone $hits the bed crying that 2 are precats btw...unless you get a great deal on a stocker from somewhere...you are smog legal w/ just 2 cats . so if you get a hi-flow from any of the numerous exhaust makers...your fine

    aod 1st gear = 2.40 t5 = 3.35 aod 2nd = 1.47 t5= 1.93 aod 3rd= 1.0 t5= 1.29 aod 4th = .068 (might be .069) t5= 1.0 t5 5th = .068 aode and wide gear set from motorsport makes 1st 2.84 and 2nd 1.55

    nope...same head i've heard that early explorer heads are real 40's and not "p"'s but i have never spoken to anyone who actually knew...just heard it around

    go w/ 4.10's and it really be fun a stock everything 5-speed on 4.10's and slicks can get a 6" wheel lift i like 4.10's...short gears , but runs like a raped ape i hate driving my car w/ 2.73's can't wait for the 4.10 install

    i have to disagree w/ that....300 hp if your car weighs 2500 lbs. w/ you in it maybe...i think 300 for 12's and 400 for 11's but definitely need the gears...go 4.10's heads (ported nicely, polished exhaust, comp vale job and decked a bit), intake , 4.10's , cam, plus a 100 shot of nitrous...

    i believe your referring to the "thermactor" plug it's threadedinside and outside right? it's a threaded insert to mount accessories. on the back of the heads, if you removed the "y" pipe for the smog pump...thats what you need to plug the holes. if it was 1/2 way and sealed up..it's be...

    24 lb injectors and 19 lb sensor? thats what your saying? you definitely need to check it, i woulda guessed you'd be lean put a small fp guage on there...underhood ones are about $30 bucks see where it's at, you need it to adjust anyways if you end up doing so

    track friday. grudge match against evo

    higher octane + same timing = less power....it took 22psi just to run the same...shoulda saved the $5 / gallon on the gas w/ that psi he will smoke his clutch and everything else soon.....
