    VIBRATION!!! Please help!

I would lift the car and spin the wheels by hand to see if they are spinning true. No up and down motion and no side to side motion. This would a good place to start as you can balance wheels and tires until your blue in the face, but if they are not running true on the car for whatever reason...

    Need help using 3M tape

Thanks for the input, but the issue I'am having is not so much that the tape is not sticking to the trunk lid or to the spoiler. It is more that the tape is sticking to both parts and is actually pulling or stretching apart as the spoiler warps in the heat. It's hard to discribe, it's kind of...

    Need help using 3M tape

I have tried different tape (same brand) that should be good for higher temps. I think the bigger issue is the fact that the spoiler warps so much when the sun shines on it and I'm not sure how to deal with that fact. I really like the look of this product and an not really wanting to replace it...

    Need help using 3M tape

OK, so I'm starting to get a little frustrated here! I am having a problem when installing the middle section of a ducktail rear spoiler. The issue is that the 3M tape does not seem to hold the spoiler in place. The lower edge that runs across just above the tail lights always seems always seems...

    E-Brake Rattle, How to Adjust?

If your talking about adjusting the handle height, there is an adjustment bolt behind the little trap door in the center console.

HELP!! Installed custom tune and now won't start.

Here's a good one. Buddy of mine just finished a hi-po 302 build up for his 1977 mustang hatch back 4 speed (the hot machine of the day, 13" tires and all) and forgot to put the shaft in that goes between the distributor and the oil pump. No oil pressure for the first two minutes of life = 1...

    NastyStang113 just got blown !!

Hey Nasty, well done. That thing must be a blast to drive. I am thinking of going the same route myself. I wondering what rear gear your rinning. I have 4:10s at the moment and I'm thinking they might be a tad low for a street driven S/C car with that much HP. Opinions?

Need Help threw some codes last night

Could you just take it to a parts store like Napa or Pep Boys etc. I think they will check your alt for free won't they?

Do 4.10s make 1st gear useless?

Also remember 4:10 will not only give you better torque multiplcation in 1st gear, but all gears.

    Seat upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their seats to something other than stock. I'm wondering how hard it is to adapt the sensors in the seats (for the airbags) to the new seats.

    Removing the Gauge Cluster

If you have tilt steering, tilt the wheel all the way down and then with a quick jerk just pull the cluster bezel out. From there the cluster unbolts, unplugs and slides out. This whole process only takes about 5 minutes.

    @%@^&$!! Wheel hop??

For sure get your UCA and LCA replaced before going to the track or you will end up just beating your car to death with wheel hop.

    @%@^&$!! Wheel hop??

It's just the nature of the beast. I think everyone has had this condition at one time or another. Changing the upper and lower rear control arms to units that are more rigid and with stiffer bushings will make this go away. Everything is soft in the rear suspension so you don't feel the road...

    New coils

I have MSD's and I really did not notice a jump in hp or fuel economy, but it seems to just drive better, smoother, etc.

    Lifter Noise

It could be the cam phasers. If it is, the noise should go away when rpm is raised above idle by a couple of hundred rpm. Or perhaps it is injecter noise. With a stonger fuel for the s/c it might cause the injectors to be more noisy? Not sure if this is what could be, but it's a good place to start.

Replacing 8" door "woofers" (Probably been talked about before, but not recently)

I used a 8" (pioneer) shallow mount sub in a small home made enclosure that I managed to fit up under the dash behind the glove box. I wrapped it with black felt, so the small part that is visable just below the glove box is hardly noticable. Most people that ride in my car never notice it is...

My First Mustang, Any Help is Appreciated

First off, great looking machine. you will not regret buying it, but here's some advice to think about. Depending how far you plan on going mod wise, I would keep the option of forced induction open. The inital cost is fairly high, but if you go through the route of intake, tuner, and other...

    FRPP Hot Rod Cams Installed

Has anyone watched or swapped these cams them selves. I'm just wondering if the cams can be swapped without taking apart the front of the engine.

    Making more headroom

Would it be an idea to look at the seat brackets to see if it would be possible to modify them to allow the seat to be dropped an inch or two. If you could find a good fab shop with an engineering department to do this work, as you would not want to take away from the saftey of the design of the...
