    Header Question........?

    Jet hot is a nice coating... don't chip it and it will last longer then the headers themselves. If you go with coated in and out, they MAY out last the car!.

    Part number please? The reason for this concern, is after 10,000 miles my throttle shaft on my Road Demon is leaking................ since i'm upgrading carb's anyways, I am gonna do this right. thanks for the responses. 68 coop........no harm done, but leave that pooch alone LOL

    new cam....new problem

    ^^ I agree! Also something to check is the disty itself, sometimes they don't seat all the way down on cam gear. Needing either shims or grinding of the base of the disty. this is more of a problem for the chebby's but has been known to happen on the odd ford too!

    I spoke with a couple of carb builders and for my setup the flowing recommended (all are double pumpers) 1.) Proform says 750 2.) Barry Grant says 650 3.) Holley says 650 4.) Jet says 750 Well I'm lost............any ideas. aluminum headed 331 with roller cam! 5 sp , 98% street driven

    Which 5sp tranny for a 67 Fastback

    Kwkenf. (Old School here from the GTA Board) I went with a Brand New T5Z from ford Racing in my 66, has the 2.95 first gear. It's great (cost 1800 CDN). My buddy went with the rebuilt T5 out of a 91 V8 stang. Cost him 850. It has the 3.31 gear in it, better for a slow speed traffic, but...
