    2010+ HIDs are UGLY as heck!!!

    I LOVE my HID's, the look and the brightness. BUT I have a silver GT/CS...As mentioned above, they look good on Silver and the CS packages. I think the big round lights dont go with the cs valence. Looks like for all the bashing, the HID's are winning in the poll. RC

    Steeda's "beater car" went 11.87 last week...Tune and CAI only. I havent had my auto at the track yet. But on a third gear dyno, I went from 347/306 to 385/360. Obviously with the auto the raw numbers are lower but the gains were phenomenal... 38/54 at the wheels!!:nice: RC

    You probably dont want to do this in your garage. When Steeda does it, it's a WHOLE day labor charge and they actually drop the K-member and engine to get to them. NOW..in terms of power, you CAN get 20-30 at the wheels. You must redo the mid pipe with these...The set runs $1200-$1500...

    Contrer mo frer. :nono: The after market ones have a HUGE inlet and filter and are much less restrictive. You can do a tune without CAI and still pick up power, but so far in these new cars the combo is the best bang for the buck...under a grand for 25-40 RWHP plus much crisper driving. RC

    I get what you mean and how that works...but in my area, Ive never seen the cops use "tricks" to catch people. They basically just set up on the side or around a curve or something. As far as the "other" sources giving false readings but cops may be there, the Escort has a learning function...
