    How do I do a 5 lug conversion...with a twist

Great info as usual. I have the t/c rear and and am kinda considering a 5lug conversion(again, lol). I just wish there wernt so many foxes running around with bullits and cobra rims. I may just stick to my 93 cobra rims and buy an aftermarket set and have them widened for the rear and narrowed...

    Fan Clutch Problems

Its not wierd at all. Its very commom with open underhood filters. You should either put the stock air box back on, or move the filter into the fender. Been there, done that.

    Fan Clutch Problems

Do you have an exposed air filter under the hood? If so, when you throw the stock fan on, you will get turbulent air wash which will throw the MAF sensor out of wack.

    Will I need a cage?

I am with Tav on this one. I mean you say nit picky, but come on a machine screw vs a carriage bolt is a HUGE difference. You HAVE to look at all the little things that make up the entire system. On a side note, dont forget that a roll bar or cage not only protects you, but ALSO stiffens up...

    Will I need a cage?

Gezz, all you guys want to complain about somebody trying to make sure you live to race another day. What gives? Remember, its not just you on the track. What happens if the guy in the other lanes gets out of shape and plows into you? Hmm, maybe that helment, harness, and cage wernt such a bad...

Mini starter install, small wire attaches to??

Couldn't you also just run the small wire to the S terminal and leave everything else as is? Now you would have 2 solenoids instead of one. Seems it would be added protection if the starter mounted solenoid ever goes out and stays latched closed.

    Frame question

I changed my core support at home in the driveway. Its not a big job at all if you have any welding and fab experience. Hardest part for me was drilling all the spot welds out.

need autometer adparter for lower intake

I had the same problem with my Stewart Warner gauge. I looked at all my local parts houses for just the fitting to no avail. Ended up having to buy the cheapest water temp gauge at autozone and using the fitting from it.

    roller lifters

You are running pedestal mount rockers, correct? The may have not set all the valve heights the same when doing the head work. You may have to add shims or remove material from the bottoms of the rocker pedastals. Unless you want to pull the heads and have them redone. I have run across this on...

    Coolant Falling from the Sky?

If you dont have ac and dont plan to ever put it back, you can elimatinate pulling the dash completely. There are a few threads that go into detail changing it out. I did mine in about 2 hours and it was the first time I ever changed one in a mustang. 1/4 air ratchet and assorted torq bits, and...

    tko question

You need to grind the spot welds off of the tubes on each end. The tubes need to slide about a 1/2" or so. Once you cut the spotswelds so the tubes can slide, you will see where it needs to be. Then just retack the tubes when done.

    JUNKYARD GURU'S!!

Ok, lets all say this together. FORD DOES NOT CALIBRATE METERS TO INJECTOR SIZE. It is all done in the computer. Lightning meters are just that, meters. not calibrated to anything. Everything is in the computer. You have a choice of an aftermarket meter for larger injectors, an aftermarket...
