    69 with flat tappet cam. Wanted the old school "cammed" idol that the roller cams just don't provide. The xpipe seemed to have smoothed out the idol though.

    stage 8 stainless locking bolts and earls gaskets with the graphoil inserts is what i have used on several cars with no problems. expensive but never had a header leak to deal with on this setup.

    tweet, i like your affordable bling alot. For molding lexan, try a wooden block shaped to the mirror image of what you need and throw it with the lexan sheet on it in a low temp oven or use a heat gun. It is formable. Good luck.

    Polyurethane Grease??

    dieletric tune up grease looked real similar to what came with some of my bushings, there little pack ran out and thats what i used with no problems. Just make sure the entire internal and external surface is wet with it.

    Vacuum advance or mechanical advance

    buy a vacum gauge for manifold pressure, there is a port on the carb for it. it is one of the most basic diagnostic/tuning tools for the toolbox. you are peeing in the wind without one. Got the performance motor now learn how to get it & keep it running good.
