    Rear Brake Caliper Spring

Same here. I had it off once and had a damn hard time getting it back on. A good set of vice-grips, some heavy pulling and twisting, and after maybe 15 minutes I got her back on there. :notnice:

what do you do for the snow?

I got stuck in a snowstorm on 2 occasions with my 'stang, and both times nearly **** myself not to mention could have killed myself or others. From now on, the 'stang stays parked when the white stuff falls. , even a little bit. I'm buying a truck soon anyways.

Strange whining when driving sometimes (like a little supercharger)

My car has done that for the 2 years I have owned it, and the previous owner said it did that the whole 8 years that he owned it. To me it sounds like probably the input shaft bearing of the transmission, but I can't be sure. Its louder under load however. I'm not worried about it, nothing has...

    Power steering rack question?

I was in your shoes earlier this spring. You pretty much have to replace it, its next to impossible to take it all apart to replace seals, deffinetly not worth the headache. Mine leaked for over a year before I decided to finally fix it. I got a reman. rack for mine from a local parts store, it...

Wierd noises coming from under my car

For the howling sound, i'd look into front wheel bearings for sure, its that or you have a caliper that is sticking a little bit, but then it would probably pull to one side some at higher speed. A bad bearing might also be the cause of the low-speed clicking sound. As for the rattling sound, I...

    Black 18" FR500s

Car looks great! I'm very jealous of the paint as well  But couldn't you have just painted the anthrocite ones black rather than buying new wheels? +1 on the jeep :nice:

    wheel wrap

I was going to order a tan one myself, but never got around to it. Looks like the oak or sand colors ar waaaaay off, I'd deffinetly go with tan. But I was also considering going black, it wouldn't look too much out of place wih the other black inside the car.

    bad squeak

This might be a long shot, but I had a simiar sound coming from my driver's side rear, I thought was the brake pads or something like that, but after more thorough inspection, I noticed an area on the tailpipe where the upper control arm has been rubbing the tailpipe, removing the aluminized...

    noisy IAC

The foxbody IAC is different altogether. First thing I'd do is take it off and clean it with some carb or TB cleaner, and see if that helps. I can't see it making the noise itself, its probably a air whistling as its passing-through the throttle body or dirt in it.

    Afghanistan in 11 days!

Godspeed, son. I'm sure you'll make it back in one piece. I look foreward to seeing your 'stang complete next year, probably while mine's completely torn-apart haha. I guess we'll be switching roles in that scence. Take care, my fellow canadian pimp

**Official Help Paul (Killercanary) Decide Thread**

wow, it actually looks pretty good with the black pillars and mirrors and the top down, it goes well with the trim that goes all the way around the top/windows and the black top boot. My vote stays with all-black:nice:

**Official Help Paul (Killercanary) Decide Thread**

I voted all black top because it looks saweet, however maybe you can photoshop a pic of your car with the top down and make the pillars and mirrors black to see what it might look like with the top down, and post that up in this thread...

    Wheel spacers...what size???

I wouldn't go any more than 3/8" spacers. You'll deffinetly have to roll the outer fender lip so they don't rub. My 10.5" FR500's rub on big bumps with no spacers and now my tires look like crap

    suspension question

This is true. The sn's will work fine, but I decided to go with Fox struts since my car's dropped 2". I found they were a bit tricky to put in (had to jack-up the FLCA alot to get the thread started on the top nut). But I am very happy with the ride, and as a bonus, the Fox struts are a little...

What visual mods do yall have planned?

I always believed our cars don't need much exterior tweaking to look amazing, but I still have somewhat of a lits of things I will do in the future... New paint (custom color similar to DFG, but probably done in 3-stage rather than base-clear), front Cobra bumper cover with ABC splitter, s281...

    Recovering Steering Wheel

There was a guy on here a while back who ordered a leather steering wheel cover from www.wheelskins.com, and he said that it fit perfectly and the color match was right-on. I'll be going this route whenever I have time to work on the car again.

    Springs, pics needed

I'm the only one I know that has these, but they are Intrax springs (about 2" drop). Rides nice and handles great. I don't know if they are still available for our cars though.

    i got a squeak

Ball joint. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. The ball-joints on our cars, at least the factory ones, tend to squeek when they start to wear-out. On mine it got worse very quickly, and was quite loud to the point of being embarassing before I changed it out. You might as well change both...
