i got a 95 gt convertible. my drivers side front tire squeaks when i turn the wheel left and right even when the car is not running. what could the problem be?

Ball joint. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
The ball-joints on our cars, at least the factory ones, tend to squeek when they start to wear-out. On mine it got worse very quickly, and was quite loud to the point of being embarassing before I changed it out. You might as well change both out if you can afford to and if they are both stock, since the other one won't be that far behind. Or you could also get the '03 Cobra FLCA's which have the ball-joints already installed with new stiffer bushings, and save yourself having to press-out the old ones and pressing-in new ones.

yeah it was a ball joint. i bought one on ebay and had a shop install it. this new one is greasable so if it squeaks again ill just lube it up with my grease gun.
