    best heads for the money?

You could still use the 165's. But with a 347 you would WANT the 185's.

    best heads for the money?

I say either AFR185's or Edelbrock Victor Jr.'s. You wont be disappointed with either.

    I think I'm in love!!

I agree with you. All he did is put a powedyne kit on it(only 6p.s.i.), a 75mm mass air and a 70mm throttle body. Besides making everything chrome and looking pretty. I dont think its worth it. If you like it that much. Find a SN95 put a S351 body kit on it. And paint it sonic blue. It will save...

    street vs. track....

Thanks those are some pretty good numbers for a high mileage 302. Looks like with the track heat kit I should be able to make some good numbers on a 347.

    street vs. track....

I still would like to know what numbers everyone is putting down. And how many cubes did you bolt it up to.

    street vs. track....

Please not another throttle body arguement. I think for the most part. It has been agreed across the board the only reason you should go above 75mm is for boost. Be it turbo or s/c. A 75mm will flow plenty enough on an NA car.

    Fox body question

Yeah, I dont know if you can tell but my Capri is a T-top. I love taking the tops off and just cruising.

    Fox body question

The heads are different. Earlier fox's heads were more restrictive. Also before '86 fox's were carb'd. Suspension I'm not sure of........

    331 stroker victor jr heads?

I know there is a such thing as too much head. That was a sexual joke. All I was saying is with his 331 ported vic jr.'s wouldn't be too much.

Pros and Cons of a 393 stroker

I thought they resolved that issue a long time ago. But I could be wrong. I just havent heard people complain about it in a while.

    331 stroker victor jr heads?

Is there such a thing as getting to much head? Lol, no I dont think it would be too much for your 331. Matter of fact it think they do nicely. You should see some good numbers on the dyno with a good intake like the RPM II.

Pros and Cons of a 393 stroker

I thought they resolved the issue with the 347 years ago. I think people are running safely past 10k miles with no oil issues......

    street vs. track....

The R intake manifold uses a 90mm throttle body doesnt it? Thats way too much for me since Im not going forced induction.......I think my combo will put my between 350-400hp with the stage II cam. That's all I need.

    T-5 rebuild , basic ?'s

I had the same problem. I just bought another T5. The guy that sold it to me sold it fairly cheap. It was out of 93 GT. I only paid $450 which is much less than a rebuilt unit or paying to have it rebuilt. I think he has more. If you want his number PM me. Oh, btw, I found him because he had one...

Yeah, 40 series is what I took off. And they will never go back on.

    street vs. track....

No Im upgrading the springs and using my stage II I already have. I will be using 4.10's. I'm running high compression because I want all the power I can get NA. I dont want to spend any extra dough on nitrous, turbo or s/c. I was going to get a KB but it's too expensive. Even used they are high...

    So I got fired today...

Sorry to hear that. I just got out the Navy. I was attached to a gator. So every deployment I was elbow to elbow with about 2,500 Marines. I remember this one old salty Gunny. I was walking down a p-way on the ship. I said good morning Gunny. You know blood makes the grass grow. He turned around...

    Spin-Tech Sportsman Street Mufflers?

I have them. You will love the sound. They are loud though. I have flowtech shorties, an x-pipe, sportsmans and 2.5 flow tails. I swapped out my flow 40 series for them. And I'm never switching back. The only thing I want now is 3 inch tails.
