    Just FYI, I ran one of those taurus fans on my 393 stroker with a YS trim for a while. Actually worked very well. It did put a drain on the alt though. Good thing for those 3G alts... I say try putting some form of a shroud on it first, and see what happens.

    Haven't really touched the car all summer. Rebuilt project TT, went with some slightly larger turbo's, completely rebuilt the system(will have pics soon). I've been kinda discouraged with my car. Wasted a lot of money building the stroker only to ruin everything.

    The problem is with most superchargers you mount your meter before the blower. The meter reads the air being drawn in. The computer adjusts for the extra amount of incomming air and adds more fuel. If the BOV vents that air to atmosphere then all that extra fuel that was added to go alone...

    Amen to that. I drove all day and all night to pick up my current SVO shortblock. Cost me a pretty penny too... Be carefull with the mid year blocks, they don't care for 750+ horsepower figures :bang: Spend a few extra bucks and get it built by someone you trust and you might be ok. Good...

    I don't use a jack to do t5's anymore. Bench it in and thats it. Easier to do myself than to have another guy under the car in my way. My advice to you is to write up an estimate for half that total and send it to stangparts for their screw up.

    Before you go buying anything, or changing anything you need to have someone look at the car. Sounds like you have some huge vacume leaks. You can't just leave hoses unkooked. They need to be capped, or connected. If you don't know where a hose goes, then you need to find out. I'm sure...

    600 to the ground = about 700-750 at the crank with the loss of a power sucking non-lockup AOD.

    Pro3i lower control arms lakewood 50/50's 3.27 gear front is all stock. No k-member, no springs, no shocks etc...all factory. Best is a 1.49, I would say average is between 1.59 and 1.69 though.

    I went back to shorties after using longtubes. A couple different brands of LT's also. I'm very happy with my shorties. Made plenty of power with them.
