    Non sensor safe......oops

I do believe the gaskets are not paper but a ceramic material. Paper burns at 451 F and the exhaust temp is much hotter than that. The headers can actually glow orange especially during high RPM runs. I think the RTV will be toast in short order. FWIW- The ceramic header gaskets are notorious...

    Help with my 94

Are you dragging this thing? I've heard that the Zoom clutch is hard to get used to in a daily driver but that was a while back.

    94-95 overheating

Is the fluid level dropping in the overflow tank? If so, you may have a bad gasket or hose somewhere. Did you pull the engine out? Check the block to body ground strap. I broke my strap during an engine swap and had all sorts of strange readings before I added a new ground strap.:nice:

    Cobra front brake hose

I bought a pair of Cobra calipers from a bone yard (check out Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market) and just received them. They didn't come with hoses which isn't a big deal as want to get new ones. I removed the pistons & seals, broke the bleeders loose and removed the banjo bolts to get them...

    Pleeeaase HELP!

Possibility? How well do the ports match between the lower intake and the heads? I had a similar problem with a port mismatch between my TFS TW heads and FMS Cobra intake with the head ports being much larger than the intake ports. Coolant was leaking in at the upper corners of the ports. A...

    What is this???

Take the eccentric off. It will hit the back of your SN95 front engine cover.

    blew a tire

The tire outer DIAMETER is what is most important. The ABS will have big problems if they are too different (5% maximum IIRC). The rear Traction-Lok will also not be too happy with significantly different sizes on each axle end. It should be noted, however, that it is possible to have different...

    VALVE COVER BOLTS

I've been using these gaskets from Earl's and they work great. :nice: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=EAR%2D29E03AERL&autoview=sku http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1∂=EAR%2D29D03AERL&N=700+4294925237+4294908331+4294840126+4294886211+115&autoview=sku

Help me with valve covers, PLEASE!!!! (pics inside)

The Fox style covers will be a PITA to make work. The oil filler tube is in the wrong spot and they are also too tall.

    oil pressure problems

:dead: The factory pressure gauge is nothing more than a glorified idiot light. It DOES NOT read pressure. It is only "on" (needle at 12:00) or "off" (needle at 9:30). I do believe 15 PSI is the threshold.

    off the wall 95 project

Keep in mind that your car will be very nose-heavy with that engine! Years ago there were several kits to put 385's in Fox bodies. I don't recall any kits for SN95's. It should be noted, however, that a 10 liter version of the 385 block was shoe-horned into John Colletti's Boss 604 in '94...

    oil pressure problems

The ground strap that is important for the gauges is the one in the center of the drive side frame rail and runs down to the motor mount stud. Mine was disconnected and my gauges were all screwed up.

I'm not familiar with that cam but machining the retaining plate really doesn't make sense. What is the reason for this?

    "low coolant"--> where's it going?

There wasn't any water in the oil. The way I could tell was by the white colored residue on the back of the intake valve. I also could see a faint wrinkle-like mark in the gasket. I had a Cobra intake mated to TFS TW heads and I always had concerns regarding the big port size difference between...
