    Flowmaster vs Magnaflow mufflers

Just planning to change. I think I will be getting the Magnapacks as I like loud exhaust. My straight pipe were suprisingly quite at cruising rpms. I just hate the sound of tailpipes on flowmasters. I think it sounds like a farm truck.

    Randomnly stalls

Also check your fuel pump. When mine went out it would do all kinds of crazy things. Cranking the motor filled the bowls but driving would drain them and I just couldn't figure out why it would start but drive some then die.

    Flowmaster vs Magnaflow mufflers

Just got home from an hour plus ride on the freeway with dumped 2 chambers and 3.80's and no overdrive. WHAAA!!!!! I think my ears are bleeding...... Come on Magnaflows and tailpipes. Also guess I should get that AOD in that I have sitting in the corner.

    Long tubes or Tri-Y's

I need to change my old, beat up and hammered on headers for my up coming AOD swap. I have always liked the Tri-Y's but they only come in 1-1/2 primary and 2-1/2 collector. I would prefer the ones with 1-5/8 w/ 3" collector but those are $500+. Would I notice a difference between the smaller...

    Factory gauges

I currently have some under dash mechanical gauges and thought it would be nice to use my factory gauges (which are unhooked at the engine) to work instead.

    Factory gauges

I want to make my factory oil, amp, and temp gauges to work. Can I use generic sending units or do I need specific ones? I found the ones on California Mustang for about $30 but I don't know if some ones off a 5.0 would work. Also, what does it take to make the amp gauge work? Thanks

    Electrical issue times 2

Ok after 2 extremely simple jobs, I have totally got myself in a problem. #1: Pulled gauges to replace dash pad. Put back in gauges, test, no lights. Find blown fuse, replace fuse, test, fuse blows, no lights work. Hmm. I know my dimmer works as me being a genius wired my tach light to the...

AFR 185s too big for my 289?

They will run great with a nice tight lash solid roller. The 289 is supposed to spin anyways. If you don't want them I'll take them.

    Exhaust tips?

I could trim it with a sheer or the like but, I will probably just keep the tips tucked up in the corners where you can barely see the turn downs. I just dont want to take and cut a big ole hole in the middle of my panel. :flag:

    Exhaust tips?

I HATE through the valance so that is not an option. Sorry to those who like it but it is not for me. Plus my valance is fully molded in.

    Exhaust tips?

Currently have dumps and I am getting tired of the booming. Should I 1) keep the exhaust hidden, 2) Bring tips (3" slant) out under tail panel, or 3) cut out the tail panel and run the tips under that? Examples: Cut out: Hidden:
