Where are the real tech guys

Well, no...not exactly. There's bellhousings that will fit a T56 to a 302, along with an altered crossmember and new driveshaft. :nice:

Best way to replace rear main seal?

If it's the one piece rear main...I just used a small screwdriver, and a little hook thing (its a dentist tool thats come in very handy many times) and gently pried/pulled it out. To put it back in, I just used a deep well 1/4 in. socket and a little hammer and tapped it in evenly all the way...

    clutch question...with mods?

My first FMS HD clutch (same as the king cobra just with stiffer pedal feel) lasted through 4k rpm slick launches and 150 shot of spray for a long time. It still worked fine for regular driving, but would slip slightly when spraying and shifting to 3rd. I recently bought a king cobra to...

Jet sizes needed for NOS wet kit

I know someone has to have a NOS jet sizing chart SOMEWHERE. I've looked everywhere for actual NOS jetting sizes, and can only find NX sizes. Would like to know 100, 125, and 150 if anyone knows. Thanks in advance!

    Stock adjustable fuel pres. regulator?

Just wondering if there is a stock adjustable fuel pressure regulator you can order, or if it is possible to convert a stock regulator to be adjustable? Just went to put a Kirban AFPR on the car, and noticed a threaded screw going into my stock regulator. Seems like this would make it...

Differences between FOX and BULLITT sway bars?

Are there any differences between the fox body GT front/rear sway bars, and the front/rear sway bars that come with the Bullitt suspension kit? Are they better, and will they bolt on? Did a search, but just came up with info on the SN95's...nothing for a fox. Any info is appreciated...thanks!

    My turbo install, part I

What are you running for the fuel system? I see the 42lb'ers and monster rails...but what are your running for pumps and lines? Why'd you decide to go single?

    amp help!!!!

I'm going to have to agree with the fried transistors. My POS legacy amp did the exact same thing after I blew a sub with it...it would go in and out of protection. Pulled it apart, and found 5 burnt transistors. After I replaced em, it's working fine once again (well, as good as a Legacy amp...

Best car speakers for the money??

Going all out and getting a pair of $700 (or more) components isn't going to make up for not having a sub. Components provide your mids and high's, leaving the rest to the subwoofer. The more you spend, the more clarity (in most cases) and sensitivity the speakers will have, not more bass...

Best car speakers for the money??

I tried to order the CL-61a's about a month ago and they were sold out. However, they gave me a free upgrade to the HD-62EF's...which is (from reading their site) a smaller framed version of the standard HD-62. I made some plates and mounted the tweeters where the factory in-dash speakers...

    Melbourne area stangs

thanks for the compliments guys. next step is to get rid of this 11 year old suspension...and I'm sure I'll be asking you guys plenty of questions along the way! Bag, I don't think I've ever seen one of those intake manifolds before? I'm not a big mod motor guy, but I have seen more than a...

M.M. or Global West Subframe connectors?

The description doesn't say they have seat ties, but from what I've read on other posts, and from what appears to be the seat ties in the picture on the website...I do believe they have them. I don't know why they would be offered with the standard length subs and not the full length ones...

    Melbourne area stangs

YEY Finally got the stang back from the body shop and snapped some pics of it. It currently has a bunch of swirl marks in it from wet sanding and buffing, and has yet to have it's final sand and polish...but I figured I post acouple before and after. It's PPG black basecoat with a 3-color...

Ground loop buzz...CANT FIX IT, HELP!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply...work's been crazy lately and have barely had time to eat and sleep. Anyway, to answer some questions: The Amp is grounded to the same place as the convertible top motor, which appears to be a pretty substantial part of the chassis. I also removed...

M.M. or Global West Subframe connectors?

I've looked into the Griggs through the floor kit, and pretty much decided it's alittle more than I need. I think some form of full-length subframe connectors along with an 8-pt cage should be enough for my goals. I do realize that the Griggs kit is far superior, but I think that would be much...

Ground loop buzz...CANT FIX IT, HELP!

Well I am going insane. I just purchased/installed a pair of CDT components for the front, and have been fighting what I'm guessing is a ground loop for days now. Here's what I'm running: Pioneer DEH-P6500 head unit Legacy 800w 4ch. amplifier CDT Audio HD-62EF components Polk Audio 12"...
