    That would be your valve springs allowing the valves to float. The second time you revved your engine past 5,800 with stock springs it was time to change them. If you keep allowing it to happen you'll start breaking/bending valvetrain parts. I don't think you have any bent valves at this...

    I'm praying it's not a head gasket, that's all I need right now :nonono: I'm really doubting a compression test would even help me out with this. I think it's going to be trial and error because it only leaks with the motors is hot from hard or very long use.

    oh yea, forgot to mention, I'm putting a new pcv valve in, a new breather in place of the oil fill cap, and a new rear main (leaking like a siv). So maybe the engine will cool down with the new pcv valve in place :shrug:

    How far would any of you guys drive for a Stangnetters 94-95 meet??

    Anyone up for a day at the following tracks let me know: Lebanon Valley Dragway, ESTA Dragstrip, New York International Raceway Park, Beaver Springs Dragstrip, or Numidia Dragstrip. I'm looking for a good reason to take my car to the track.
