Thanks - you guys have been really helpful. Looking back at all of this, I should have just bought a used cobra engine and dropped a blower in, but that's life. :D At least I can start saving up now for a new Cobra R2000 hood and Cobra bumper (my year). Peace

Ask, and yee shall receive (need to update them as these are oldies..): This isn't a very clear picture, but I installed a 7" touchscreen into the radio bezel with a 1.6GHz computer under my seat running some software to do MP3, Movies, and GPS:

Yeah, they are a busy shop. The tuner they have is in the Top 10 for North America, and participated in the invitation only events held by SCT. He was able to diagnose issues so quickly and dial-in the numbers, was really impressed. There were about 8 stangs in the shop, and another 4...

The guys at Steeda.ca today had some available time to get my car back in and tuned. If you were following the storyline of my car, I went through a lot of hassles last year (not with Steeda) with PI headswap kits, parts, engine teardown in my garage over winter, etc, etc. Now, it's finally...

Totally agree - those numbers are very low. Who did the tuning? Have you spoken to them since purchasing the car?

    Taking Car Out of Storage

... good thing - new tank of gas once that one is consumed will take care of that Perfect You're in good shape then. Check for worn hoses (doubt it based on mileage), change the oil and fuel filter and away you go!! :nice: You could always do plugs, as they're cheap and easy to change

    Taking Car Out of Storage

Personally I would do oil + filter, fuel filter, and clean the air filter. You could also seamfoam your car. Did you park it on stands, or carpet / mats? or just concrete? After 13 months if no one has moved it, you could have flat spots on your tires if they weren't pumped up alot.

    eBay Stang of the week

If you could remove the decals, change the interior & exterior color, and remove the body kit, it wouldn't be that bad of a ride... ::rolleyes::

Safety loop for driveshaft would be nice too.. inexpensive too

Does Stangnet hate NPI's more than Ricers and Camaros?

Still, to this day, prefer the body style of the SN95's to all other late model mustangs (when done right).

How to install a Vac-Boost Gauge by a complete N00b

For AFR gauge, I tapped into the red wire with a black stripe that was found behind the passenger side kick panel going into the PCM. This is the wire from the front (passenger or driver, cant remember which) O2 sensor to the PCM. Real easy install, but is a light show without a wideband.

How to install a Vac-Boost Gauge by a complete N00b

Great write-up - good base for other gauge setups for ppl new to that type of work. Question - what are you using the other pod for?

I am so stupid - fuel line & fuel filter

I bought the fuel line disconnect tool (set of 5 sizes of white ring-type clamps) when I first changed my fuel filter, only to learn that you didn't actually need them to replace the fuel filter. Just comes right off..

    Quick SCT XCAL2 question.

I have never done this, and have used my SCT XCal2 for over a year and loaded about 5 tunes... you should be fine.
