Dyno results - pics + vid

The guys at Steeda.ca today had some available time to get my car back in and tuned.

If you were following the storyline of my car, I went through a lot of hassles last year (not with Steeda) with PI headswap kits, parts, engine teardown in my garage over winter, etc, etc.

Now, it's finally been dyno'd and I'm happy with the results (although, who doesn't wish more power...)

Final figures with a very reliable tune: 297.6rwhp @ 5500 and 318.5 tq @ 4000

The dyno graph is nice and steady and no flat spots

Very healty numbers you have there and awesome looking stang as well. I can't say how much pain you went through to get there (only you know), but usually outcomes are sweeter when more sweat is involved.

Yeah, they are a busy shop. The tuner they have is in the Top 10 for North America, and participated in the invitation only events held by SCT.

He was able to diagnose issues so quickly and dial-in the numbers, was really impressed.

There were about 8 stangs in the shop, and another 4 outside waiting...

I was there with my black 02 GT on the Saturday when it was determined you lacked an O2 bung and couldn't dyno tune it. I was bummed 'cause I really wanted to see what your car would do. Glad to see the numbers are so good.

And yes, that car looks very sweet in person.

This isn't a very clear picture, but I installed a 7" touchscreen into the radio bezel with a 1.6GHz computer under my seat running some software to do MP3, Movies, and GPS:

Thanks - you guys have been really helpful.

Looking back at all of this, I should have just bought a used cobra engine and dropped a blower in, but that's life.

At least I can start saving up now for a new Cobra R2000 hood and Cobra bumper (my year).

Peace
