Check the tirerack.com OEM replacement rubber pricing for the 2010 V-8 Camaros - Pirelli PZero 20", front/back $366/$407 21", front/back $402/$494 And that's each tire - not per axle. Wow.

    Shelby GT grille install

I could be wrong, but from your link's data, it may be a grille "addition" where you leave the OEM grille in place, minus the fog light assemblies, and the Shelby piece slips in front of it with the "j" bolt hardware...?

    2008 Upgrades Question

A good CAI and custom tune with 91 octane should get you to 300 rwh and about the same with torque; it did on my 2005 GT Vert.

Appears to be DOA Battery - but isn't...

Checking the best deals on quality batteries...called NAPA for an Interstate MTF-40R, Interstate's recommendation for 2005+ GTs...about $130 with tax out the door. Same 590 CCA rating as the Motorcraft OEM in my 2005. You can probably find this for less as my local NAPA is rather high-priced...

Appears to be DOA Battery - but isn't...

Tommy, yup, I'm going to replace the battery - but the fact it had the same general behavior before the car was one year old makes me believe there's more to it.

Appears to be DOA Battery - but isn't...

I have a '05 GT 5-speed with 10k miles with original battery; it's never gone dead on me. But it's probably time to replace it anyway. When I first bought the car with 900 miles on it in '05, I thought the battery was half-dead back then because turning the key sometimes resulted in nothing...

    Unwanted stripes on Convertible top.

I have a '05 GT Vert with the same black vinyl top. Built in March 2005 if I remember correctly...and I'm still waiting for those support marks to "go away." Sure they will...when I sell the car!

Stainles brake lines - worth it?

I've just driven my kid's '08 335i :nice:and the brakes were really excellent - for a nearly $50k purchase, as they should be. My GT with 9k miles has the standard brakes with the only mod being a set of HPS pads...and the lines have been bled so they shouldn't have any air in them. For...

Anybody replace D-Specs with Bilstein HDs?

Good info! I just checked and the space between the top of the bumper stop dome and the bracket where it hits is between 3/8" and 1/2" (with no load on the suspension). I'll try cutting off the top section dome and see if that changes the ride any.

best way to get rid of spiders in and underneath the car?

If nothing else works... a. Contact some local termite companies b. Ask them if on their next tent job, you can contact the homeowner and ask permission to park your car in their garage since it will probably be vacant as the owners leave the area for a few days. c. Problem solved. d. Of...

Anybody replace D-Specs with Bilstein HDs?

Grey, You might be right; like you, I'm certainly no expert and it might be springs not the shocks/struts. But I will note that Steeda's description for their Sport Springs certainly doesn't indicate they are meant for track use - "Steeda Sport Springs - Part Numbers: 555-8216 Lowers...

Anybody replace D-Specs with Bilstein HDs?

I know a lot of guys in this forum run Tokico D-Specs and luv 'em - well, it hasn't been much of an affair so far for me. I have a '05 GT Vert with 9k miles on it - not exactly a DD. Steeda 18" wheels, Steeda Sport Springs, GY GS-D3 275x40s all around at 28 lbs. Alignment and balance seem...

If You Can't Find 3M Adhesive Remover... If you can't locate 3M's remover, go to a pharmacy and get bandage adhesive remover. Works about the same and it's mild so it won't hurt your paint. Just let it soak for a while. Good luck!
