so i got in an accident today

gas at one station was $3.89 a gallon today.... kinda sad when you'd be overjoyed to pay just $3 a gallon.

so i got in an accident today

over $3.10 a gallon here! :fuss: Suddenly, the 2.3T swap looks soooo much better then a new car. My car ended up being totaled and I got a check for $1400. not what wanted at all, but theres nothing I can really do about it. I did a little research, looked into 99+ mustangs, v6 and v8...

    Want a V8

so a v6 with a fully worked motor and a SC only puts down about 250hp? or is that before the SC? I've been toying with the idea of buying another mustang, 99 or newer, come spring time, possibly buying a v6 and putting the money I save back into the car... but as i've been lurking on...

    2.3L Duratec

i would try to dig up the bench flow numbers and cam specs for the 4v head, price a set of motor mounts to drop the DOHC into your fox, and price whatever tranny kit and electronics you need, as well as forged pistons if you plan on a turbo.

    What to expect.

if hes 16, he's prolly gonna consider riding a pedal bike when he sees his insurance quote. Usually an insurance company's website will give you free online quotes. If you want, you could put duel exhust on it, with say flowmasters. Some people say it will sound great, others hate it...

    2.3 to 351 intercepter

they sell whole kits to swap the 4.6 into a fox, but that motor for that year is a dog, and the swap will require all the same parts i listed, except alot of them are custom peice (headers, motor mounts). Your best bet would be to sell both cars and just buy a v8 car if thats really what you want.

    2.3 to 351 intercepter

you'll need foxbody motor mounts, headers, exhust pipes, oil pan, new pump pickup, prolly a different tranny, or atleast new shifter linkage, radiator, not sure about the water pump. Then you have to move the fuel lines in the fox body, and find a way to either swap in the entire electric system...

so i got in an accident today

so i've come up to a hard decision with the stanger, and my plans for her. The damages from the accident got me an estimate of $1930, which means my 4cyl car with 82K miles is most likely going to be totaled. :notnice: this lady's insurance is taking their sweet time, my weekly phone calls dont...

    Cylinder Head

i would take the head and get it magna- fluxed or whatever its called if ur really worried. But that seems like a crazy spot to get a crack, especially since its on top. If there was no oil in the water, or water in your oil, then I'd bet you'll be alright.

so i got in an accident today

Yup got into an accident on friday. :damnit: Some idiot lady in an SUV that looked like a small monster truck decided that the stop sign didn't apply to her. I ended up hitting her broadside, in the drivers fender. Put a small dent in her fender, but I think I bent up her suspension a little...

when flushing my cooling system what radiator hose do I take off?

to actually "flush" the system, you need the machine that pumps the fluid through under pressure. other wise your just draining the anti-freeze and replacing it with new stuff. Im not sure if there is a specific flushing solution, or if they just use water. I've never bothered to do it.
