I love reading your posts. It's reassuring that somebody way smarter than me can spend all day doing nothing, except reorganizing the Gant chart, or removing brand new parts that have been inadvertently obsolete-ized. You're like digital Mylanta.

You're not near as tightwad as I am. I'd spray more glue and thinner on the whole thing, and wash it more, and call it "really distressed" leather.

I've got one of those walls in my garage. It's door glass alignment on a 67 vert. And we're only days away from the Stanley Cup playoffs starting. Hockey is so much better than getting my butt kicked by door glass.

Woops--lack of smileys made the post come across wrong. I wasn't hurt--in fact, I didn't even get the dig about the pen until now. My intent was just to flip stuff back at you--definitely didn't mean to offend. There was boatloads of sarcasm in that post, but they didn't make it through the...

That's real funny, except for the fact that in the time it's taken me to assemble an entire car, you've only managed to choose paint colors, and find the right angle of "square" to put lights on a shoebox. It takes a rare form of boldness to talk smack when one's artistic creativity maxes out...

    Electric Fan Temperature Sensor Location

Thanks for all the input! I looked at tapping the t-stat housing, but don't have a tap. Ordered the inline mount last night, then saw the post this morning from @MikeH686 and that reminded me that I needed to plug up that nipple fitting anyway. I ended up putting mine in the back, DS, of the...

    Electric Fan Temperature Sensor Location

I've got an electric cooling fan that comes with a temperature sensor that's 3/8" NPT threaded. Wondering where others have installed this?

Fuel How Far Should The Throttle Body Plate Open At Wot?

That's what I figured, but I don't have time to keep trying stuff out. Will make a new bracket in the morning. No good options for cables here locally.

Fuel How Far Should The Throttle Body Plate Open At Wot?

No. The throttle cable doesn't have enough throw. When we detached it from the bracket at the throttle body, and spaced it back about 3/8", we got full travel. Looks like we're probably going to fab up a new bracket in the morning. I'm assuming I want full travel of the plate, correct?

Fuel How Far Should The Throttle Body Plate Open At Wot?

Installing 5.0 in my 67. Just installed throttle cable and fabricated pedal assembly. Throttle cable is new one from American Muscle for a fox body (donor car was a 91). Cable isn't restricted, throttle linkage moves freely through entire range, but when cable is installed, the plate only...

Yep. Moved to FL in September. Spent all winter wearing shorts, and driving the Shelby with the top down. Car guys shouldn't live in AK. I'm gonna start calling you Metamucil.
