    1.7 RR on stock valvetrain?!

    I have an oppertunity to pick up some 1.7 Crane roller rockers, pedestal mount. To my understanding, they will add about .30 lift. Can i safely bolt these onto my stock 88 motor and go? Or will i have piston-to-valve clearance or stock valvecover clearance?

    IMO your car is a little overcammed for dispacement/heads/intake combo... The GT40 should help open it up a bit. I would expect somewhat better 60' times out of the combo too... Practice will definitely be your best friend. Keep at it, the times arent that bad, you could have done alot worse!

    Just did mine, I picked up a nice gearset and chain from Livernois Motorsports. Its made by JP Motorsports, an Aussie company. $85. Billet steel.

    I thought you were referencing a possible leak after the MAF as not being metered. My mistake. Wiring is near completed. Testing will commence shortly :)

    I have a bung in the intake manifold, and no worries on 'metered air' because im SD still.

    Im going to test at 50-75-100 and run 100 on the street. maybe ill move it a bit closer? :shrug: Testing will tell i suppose. thanks for the answers guys.

    Hey guys. I mounted my nozzle under my intake (NX single stage, wet) And pointed it in the orientation of the arrow. Do you think the fuel will have an alright time making the bend, or do i need to relocate my nozzle? Opinions? Oh and :Zip2: about the material used to make my intake...

    Ditch the 7.5" before you grenade it, lol. You will definitely see an ET drop, along with your fuel economy on the freeway dropping (i dont know how big of a concern that is/the purpose of the car)... Im turning 2500rpm at 70 with 3:73s and a T5. I would be curious to see what 4:10s will wind...
