    weird tire wear

yea, stock tie rod ends. i haven't had time to go though and make sure everything is tight again, i should do that this weekend. unless the ford tech left something loose when he did my alignment it shold be good though because i checked everything when i put my rack bushings in. would bump...

the car's been lowered for about 3 years, just started doing this recently though. i had it aligned about 5000 miles ago, maybe less. it's been eating tires like this since then, i also installed my offset rack bushing at this time could that have anything to do with it?, at first i thought it...

Just bought deep dish bullitt rims..... now have a question and pics of rims...

hey looks like someone's got the same set up as me the HTRZ are good for the price, much cheaper than anything else. but that's about all they're good for, they're a harder compound so they don't stick for ****, but they do last longer. they're good enough for daily driving, if you've got...

    Replacing rear 1/4s?

i agree, pound it out if you can..we're going through the same thing with a '68me and my buddy are restoreing, except we've got rust on the quarter so it needs to be replaced. apparenly it's a pretty in depth job, cutting, welding, and making it look good, luckily his dad has done this before so...

Please post pics of your lowered 96-04 GT's

suspension: eibach pro sport springs, tokiko shocks/struts, steeda caster/camber plates, granatelli upper/lower control arms, polyurethane isolators, offset rack bushings handles worlds better than stock, almost no body roll and it really corners well. but i sacrificed ride quality, big...

    '68 mustang charging system problem

garystocker, by the way that's a nice '68 you've got there. that's the same thing we're restoring, '68 hardtop with a 302. it's coming along nicely, the whole front end is done, engine bay is freshly painted, all the front end body work is finished, primed, and ready for paint. runs great now...

    '68 mustang charging system problem

ok, yea i guess we forgot to check for shorts, some of the wireing on this thing is pretty old and we have already replaced some bad wires. all the charging system wires tested fine for a signal but i didn't trace them down and make sure they weren't exposed anywhere along the harness, guess...

WARNING: Not for the faint hearted...

wow, very nice fastback. i can't believe those idiots screwed it up so much. also by law that shop is liable for any damages caused by negligance and you can sue them for it. just make sure everything's documented and find a reputable shop to diagnose it properly. at least that's how it works...

well i let it set for about a hour but i didn't know you had to let it reset again every time you opened the door, i'll have to go check again....i did however replace the dome light that looked to be singed on the connectors and the draw went down to .153 which i thought was acceptable but...

    Best plenum and tb

accufab is probably the best quality tb you will find, the machined billit finish is perfect and throttle response is better than anything else on the market, i love mine :nice: . but beware of their intake, if you want it only for preformance it is good, but if you are willing to pay the extra...

Question about waxing and water beading

you should use a polymer based wax rather than a carnuba based wax. polymer spreads easier, is easier to remove and provides better protection. we use 4 star ultimate at my detail shop and i also use it on my car, it's by far the best wax i've ever used, when it rains my car barley even gets...
