Im getting pissed...need help with idle

I swapped the throttle body and the upper intake, and when I did this the idle completely went to crap. Now it idles at 1000 rpm on a good day, half the time it will idle at 1200-1300 rpm when I come to a stop, half the time it will idle normal. I usually wont have the hanging idle problem...

    OBD1 codes need help... 332, 314, 311, 536, 632

I was messing with my PCV valve earlier, and I got codes 311 and 314 (im almost positive that is what caused it). I disconnected the pvc from vacuum and the light came on. Don't know if this helps, but I just thought I would throw it out there.

    opinions of NEW MAC catback?

I have had one flowmaster catback and that is enough for a lifetime. the flowmaster quality compared to the MAC was complete garbage, the tailpipes weren't as nice, one was too short, and the pipes hit the frame. I spent more money fixing it than the purchase price, at least with the MAC you...

    Noise from transmission!

if you can't hear it from inside the car I wouldn't worry about it, the gears are going to make some noise. I would drive it until you lose a gear and then worry about it. But if you really are concerned and have money to throw around I would look at a rebuild kit from www.ddperformance.com...

    Urgent!!! Please Help!!

I wouldn't bother putting them back on because even the skinny side (piston) is going to rub on a 275. Yes you will need to get lower control arms because the first time you turn and even accelerate normally you are going to get bad wheel hop. The LCAs will not completely eliminate this, but...

    body parts

there are still 4 pieces that are extensions of the front and back bumpers that you will need, you will also need the body cladding (rubber stuff that runs down the side of the car), thats a bad deal but the pieces I just mentioned will probably run you at least $400

    x pipe welded

My bissani x pipe has been welded together for some stupid reason. Not only is it hard to get off and on but it is also hangs really low and there is nothing I can do about it. So my question is can I legally have my cats clamped onto my exhuast or was that the reason they were welded? If so...

painting the molding around back windows

I did mine back in the day, set aside at least a day to get the windows off, sanded, sanded some more, painted and back on the car. most likely it is going to come out with waves, but if you're poor like most of us, it will do the job. Some company uses a resin to fill the holes, it might be...

    what type of refrigerant

Follow up: I checked the low pressure side, the compressor would kick on and the off about every 5-10 seconds showing pressure ranging from 90psi down to <20psi I put a 12 oz can of 134a in and the pressure steadied out to about 35psi and the compressor now stays on. It gets relatively cold...

    what type of refrigerant

-No I don't know **** about A/C, I have two guages, but they both have the same fitting on the end, so I can't check both sides at once, actually I cant even check one side at all -Is the fitting on the line coming from the condensor (this is the heat exchanger in front of the radiator...

    what type of refrigerant

I checked the pressure on what I think was the low pressure side (next to the drivers side shock tower) and it was 110 psi, but the car was still hot from driving. I also realized that the fittings are different, the one on the front passenger side of the car has a larger fitting. When the A/C...

    Air bag diagnostics....help

I don't know much about airbag diagnostics, but I do know that a regular code scanner will not clear the airbag codes. You need a special scanner to clear these codes, and it is several thousand dollars. You could take it to the dealership but they will charge you about $85 to clear the codes.

dash painting/air bag cover help and opinions

I painted the dash in my fox, I used the most expensive vinyl dye they had at autozone (not real expensive) but I also used an adhesion promoter, its basically acetone in a spray can. supposedly it opens the pores of the plastic and allows the paint to penetrate and all that stuff. I had to...

    Temperature guages, there's too many!!

The only problem with the full sweep electrical gauges is they are very expensive, like over $100 each. I got my regular elec oil press, elec water temp, and full sweep mechanical boost gauge for about $45 each and those are AM ultra lite series :nice:
