    Okay. I think ill get the white one for the aluminum...plan to hose off the piece and repaint it anyways. I may hit the block with it just to help clean it up and i have the timing chain etc covered and obviously will be performing an oil change when im done.

    I have been following your directions thus far...I definately get it about the scotchbrite/sandpaper near the engine/block i was only referring to the timing cover itself since it is off the engine and i would pressure wash it after to clean off any debris. I figured since people sandblast...

    I know and thank you for the replies. Im just also wondering how wide people can run with the MM PH bar without interference. Mini tubs etc is new territory for me so trying to figure out how much i need to obtain my goals. I wont be performing any of that as i dont know how to weld at this...

    Timing cover was stuck but finally got that off. Couple of questions...the gaskets are a PITA to scrape off lol. I got them pretty decent but want them better and had a thought. Any problem with lightly sanding the timing cover gasket surfaces with my multi tool then just pressure washing...

    So say i went with a 18x10 or 18x11 or 19 x10/11 instead and want to run 315s and run it low...whats my best option? Ive seen places mini tub and have options for keeping stock suspension locations. I just dont know with rear coilovers and tucking it to the rail how much clearance i can gain...

    Ive had the radiator for a couple years but ive had it out a few times and i always rinse that out with distilled water just to flush it while its out and i put about 500 miles a year on the car.
