    Underdrive pulleys...convince me that they work.

    When I installed mine they seem to give the car a little more torque, or it could have been the fact that the engine reved faster. JMO.

    I heard that the GT40s have a different spring package on them that is good for a little over .500", I'm not for sure though. Maybe someone else can confirm. The GT40s also cam on 95-97 1/2 explorers but the CCs were larger.

    With no fmu run 36lb as a min. 42s would give you more room to grow though. I'd run 13lbs as long as its not your DD.

    This probably won't help but what did you try to set the idle at when it was warm? I would think it would be around 950 or so.

    Regular GT40s. Don't have the revised combustion chamber but are "smog legal", they have the thermactor holes in the rear.

    I think more than .500" you can have problems with valve float.
