    bullit mach 1 brake upgrade

    FYI, the brake lines are side-specific. So if one isn't fitting, try the other one. It is a very easy swap. When I did mine, it took me about 2 hours for the whole job.

    Vin stamped into chassis on 96 GT??

    Cindy, FYI, the carpet is not glued to the floorboard, it just lays on top, so you don't have to worry about not getting it to lay right. I take the carpet out of my car about every 1-2 years to clean it. It comes out and goes back in pretty easily amazingly.

    caliper removal problem lowering springs

    I don't think there is enough slack to the brake line to be able to swap out springs w/o taking off the caliper. Have you tried soaking the bolt with some PB Blaster? You could always remove the spindle from the lower A-arm.
