    sorry to bring back my old thread but i just resurfaced the rotors myself and now the squealing is gone. i only had time to do my fronts because i was running late for something, but at least the squealing is gone :nice:

    maybe you left the bleeder open. is there any fluid leaking? also maybe you should bleed it again. check fluid level. and how did you back out the rear caliper pistons? not with a c-clamp i hope. BTW do your hawks squeal? because mine squeal a lot

    synthetic or regular oil?

    i put in mobil 1 5w-30 in my car at my first oil change at 3000 miles. and no complaints here. doesnt ford use semi-synthetic on our cars out of the factory?

    so anyone have a way of maiking them quiet? or suggest pads that are silent. (not a box that says its quiet because the hawks say theyre silent but obviosly they aren't)

    hmmmm so does this mean its normal? i just got home from trying to bed them in at a higher speed and i ended up making my rotors blue. i went out to the lake brought it to 90mph and braked fairly hard. and it was gone for a while but the squeal came back! :(

    maybe when they installed it they forgot to tighten something down...go down there and chaeck yourself. and if they did any welding check the welds for missed spots :nice:

    Glad you like your setup. i also have an off road h pipe with flowmasters. if clearance is really a problem for you try tightening the entire exhaust setup it might be sagging because its loose but if that doesnt help then nothing will
