    Put those w6's in a larger sealed box and then listen. JL's aren't as well off in small boxes as the advertising would have you believe. I LOVE my old 12w3's in 2 cubes each sealed, or 3.5 tuned to 21hz.

    As in most cases, I agree with Iskwezm, and I'll go so far as to say that those drivers will not sound good even sealed in that tiny airspace offered there. Only a select few will. The Image Dynamics IDQ and the DIYMA 12 are the best true tiny box woofers I can think of off the top of my head...

    The Type-R is horrible in a sealed box, and there's not enough space to port it in the spare-tire well. Try a different woofer. For $130 you could get an Elemental 12kv2 that would work real nice, or a TCSounds driver from Oaudio.com.

    Did you remove the retaining clips from the rotors? There will be one on each around a single stud. Remove that- it is only there for the factorys' uses.

    Ditto. I need to get mine checked- my '02 GT would chill your joints to the point of aching, and it still does (friend owns it and I took a ride with her yesterday). The '06 is only cold if I put my hand against the vent.
