    you could use a fine wheel, as long as it's nothing to rough. stuff rags in the ports to keep debris out. the brass helps but a coarse wheel is still a coarse wheel. they do make wheels that are meant for use on aluminum also. are these heads alum. or cast? cast you should be ok. either way...

    thanks for all the replies. i found that i do have the harness for it. it was tucked down by the battery and i couldn't find it at first. i also read in my owners manual that all 90 5.0's had the coolant sensor. not sure if i'm going to use it or anything, just wanted some clarification on...

    ya, its supposed to be part of the cap, but someone must've just put an el cheapo cap on there because there's no sensor or wires that i can find tucked in somewhere. it is an E coded VIN

    19 degrees here. ice all over. we didn't get the 8-10 inches of snow we were supposed to yet, but i'm sure its coming. wind chill was just a hair below zero this morning it was 75 two days ago!! what the hell??
