    sn 93 timing

if he is making 6-7 lbs of boost and it's hot out...yes 10* is about it if it gets cooler out 75* and below....you could bump to about 12* and possibly, if only 6 lbs maybe even 14* but it would have to really cool out and no humidity. best way to get the best timing is to run at the...

Have you ever heard of these gears??

sorry but i guarantee you did....... you can't even buy a ratio of that size, and i think you could hardly get the car to move if you did

    65mm or 70mm TB?

the opening on the intake is only 70mm.......and you don't need any more than that anyways. 65 is good til about 400 hp, but since the opening is 70, you don't wanna run into a wall i'd go 70

    how to bump start...

you still need the key turned to "on" your just bypassing the starter selonoid. if the key isn't turned on...it will turn over but never fire. pretty sure it's the 2 small posts ....not the ones where batt cables hook on

    Fpr

not that you need one...but it might be nice. how is the fuel pressure now? if it's fine i wouldn't bother...mods don't really make a fpr necessary...how it's running does.

Best way to launch with Mickey et radials?

i made a pass w/ no burnout and they spun like mad launching off idle....but that was the first time ever w/ no burnout, so they might have been glazed or whatever. anyway....15 lbs seems low, try 20 lbs. and launch at 3500...if it hooks try 4000

    Someone explain timing to me

possibly, but they are that expensive, and chances are you know someone w/ one. you can get a craftsman for about $30 bucks i think.... a really nice tool to have is a 1/2" distributor wrench...the craftsman one is $8.95 and it is worth it's weight in gold. chobracobra......that yellow...

How do u get low 13's in an auto?

i would go 4.10's and 3000 stall converter, you already have the shift kit, get a cooler on it, and go for the boltons (heads and intake is what it's gonna take) honestly if you spray it, it will be the cheapest and easiest way. my stock lx 'vert went 13.60's w/ 3.73's and 100 shot zex...

    Someone explain timing to me

you want the spark plug to ignite right on or a bit after the piston reaches top dead center...if it pops b4...it slows the movement...but if it waits too long....not enough compression. stock timing is 10* you can go to 12* ez on low grade pump gas....14* if you use premium you need to...

    nitrous and stock gears!?

never ran stock gears b4, and don't know of anyone who has. but if you do, make sure you squirt over 3k you should anyways...but not many adhere to that, w/ 4.10's the r's build so fast and not a biggie.....but make sure you do. i see no reason you wouldn't see similar results...

    car runs lean...

yup like he said...i would run it hard too , to see if drops or anything...you can tap into the schrader valve and just hold the guage outside the window if you don't wanna mount it...there cheap ones you canmount right on the rail, but obviosly you can't see it driving
