sn 93 timing

My brothers car is an 88 mustang gt 5 speed. it has a paxton sn93 supercharger with a upr boost pipe. Headers and orx pipe.

Everything else is basically stock.

What should the initial base timing be set at?

I know how to set the timing etc.
I just need to know the base timing. It seems to run good at 10*.

Would it be safe to keep it at this?

if he is making 6-7 lbs of boost and it's hot out...yes 10* is about it

if it gets cooler out 75* and below....you could bump to about 12* and possibly, if only 6 lbs maybe even 14* but it would have to really cool out and no humidity.

best way to get the best timing is to run at the track, then up the timing by 2* and check mph...not et...mph try 10-12-14 and wherever it had the best mph is best for those conditions.

of course if it pings...get out and back it off
