    Yes it is normal. I don't get any boost from my Vortech unless I'm at WOT or close to it.

    I have the Steeda and have no complaints. As said before it has two settings for shifter handle height. The high setting is pretty close to stock height. However, I just recently drove my buddies snake with the MGW shifter and I am very impressed. I am seriously thinking of buying that one soon...

    Welcome. As far as mods it all depends on how extreme you want to go. A good beginning would be some new gears, short throw shifter, CAI w/ K&N, cat back exhaust and a midpipe. Maybe some headers. Just search the site, you should get plenty of ideas.
